A Disciplined Approach to Wealth, Growth and Preservation

JOLT Wealth Management

For more than twenty years, our Chief Investment Officer, Jonathan Mann, has designed and managed investment strategies for private clients, family offices, and professional investors. His focus has always been clear: to protect and grow capital through disciplined investing, robust risk management, and a culture of transparency.

Today, that same expertise is accessible through the JOLT MULTI FUND, a Luxembourg-based vehicle offering investors exposure to our proprietary investment process within a secure, well-governed framework.

Our Investment Philosophy

We believe that sustainable performance is achieved through discipline, diversification, and innovation. At the heart of our process is a multi-strategy approach that combines proprietary quantitative trading models, which use data-driven algorithms to identify opportunities and inefficiencies across global markets, with event-driven research that tracks earnings reports, corporate actions, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory developments to capture market-moving events. This is complemented by our team’s decades of market expertise, applying experience across multiple cycles to balance risk and return in a disciplined manner.

This integration allows us to pursue consistent, risk-adjusted returns across market cycles while maintaining strict oversight and governance.

Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR)

The European Commission’s Sustainable Action Plan has three objectives:

  1. To reorient capital flows towards sustainable investment in order to achieve sustainable and inclusive growth;

  2. To manage financial risks stemming from climate change, environmental degradation, and social issues; and

  3. To foster transparency and long-termism in financial and economic activity.

The Action Plan is a response to recommendations made by the High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance, which were submitted to the European Commission in January 2018.

The European Parliament has since adopted amendments to Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 introducing a framework for EU Climate Transition and EU Paris-Aligned Benchmarks, amendments to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/565 integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into investment advice and portfolio management, and amendments to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2359 incorporating ESG considerations and investor preferences into advice relating to insurance-based investment products. It has also introduced related measures, including the EU Taxonomy Regulation, EU Green Bond Standard, climate-related disclosure requirements and sustainability benchmark frameworks.

The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), which forms part of the European Commission’s broader Sustainable Action Plan, came into effect on 10 March 2021.

To meet the SFDR disclosure requirements, JOLT WEALTH MANAGEMENT identifies, assesses and, where possible and appropriate, seeks to manage sustainability risks relating to the JOLT MULTI FUND as part of its overall risk management process. JOLT WEALTH MANAGEMENT believes that integrating this analysis may help enhance the long-term value of the portfolio for investors, in accordance with the Fund’s investment objective and investment policy. However, due to the nature of the Fund’s investment objective, sustainability risks are not integrated into investment decisions.

For the avoidance of doubt, the JOLT MULTI FUND does not promote environmental or social characteristics within the meaning of Article 8 of the SFDR, nor does it have sustainable investment as its objective within the meaning of Article 9 of the SFDR.

For the purposes of Article 6 of the EU Taxonomy Regulation, JOLT WEALTH MANAGEMENT confirms that the investments underlying this financial product (the JOLT MULTI FUND) do not take into account the EU criteria for environmentally sustainable economic activities.

With regard to the disclosure obligations under Article 4(1) of the SFDR, JOLT WEALTH MANAGEMENT confirms that it does not take into account the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors pursuant to Article 4(1)(b).
